Objectives

What we work for.

We build bridges between school, family, and everything in between. These are the objectives we hold in common across our two programmes, Joy of Life Niassa and Opening Doors, guiding how we work with children, families, schools and communities, in the rural areas as in the city.

The through-line

Between the worlds a child already moves through, and the ones still out of reach.

Generation

Promote good values and mentoring for young people, through an interdisciplinary and holistic approach.

Teach the fundamentals and the game of basketball to youth, and give them the opportunity to participate in camps and other activities through their school and community.

Provide scholarships, in and outside the country.

Reinforce that sport is not just a physical activity, but can also be a movement of awareness.

Provide a safe place for children to express their feelings and socialise with one another.

Promote social and environmental justice, and gender equity.

Improve the retention rate of children in school.

Create opportunities for local social actors, from different areas, to take part in the formation of future generations.

Give priority to fun and to the transfer of life skills.
